Art Courses

WHAT HAVE WE TO FEAR BUT FEAR ITSELF?

Through both my own experiences and with the completion of taking many students through their creative process of painting I have found that the most common fears are the blank canvas, where do I start and when am I finished. My courses are designed for you to erase the fear of starting, making a mistake whilst painting and coming to the acceptance that your painting is now finished. You will learn at first hand how to gain a level of confidence that will not only be beneficial to your painting and creativity but assist you in all other aspects of your personal and working life.  Whether you are already a prolific painter or someone who has yet to take the big step of creating your very first work of art, I will guide you in finding a new and exhilarating dimension of creativity that will both surprise and delight you.

FINDING YOU
A full day of tuition where I will introduce you into my world of creativity with a simple step-by-step approach to creating an inspirational work of art. During the day you will undertake the mediums of both pastel and oils and leave the day with TWO COMPLETED PAINTINGS. You are guaranteed to finish the day refreshed, inspired, with your own paintings and ready to do it all again.

CAPTURING THE MOOD IN PASTEL AND OILS (6 week course)

Combining both mediums during this course will bring you a much greater understanding of how each medium has its own advantages.  This course will suit the artist who is presently struggling with creating that special depth of emotion in their work, or for the total novice who will discover that painting moods is not just possessing a technical "know-how" but the ability to release the fear to visually express from within.
